Front-of-House Crew Member
Hole in the Wall BBQ is seeking a new face to add to our small, dedicated team. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to be a significant part of our family-owned establishment as we grow into our 36th year of business.
Our new team member will be primarily in charge of front-of-house operations, taking orders, and customer service. However, we all work together and do a little bit of everything. Job duties are varied, the work is fast-paced, and there are many opportunities to learn about preparing traditional barbecue cuisine for an excited and motivated individual.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-memorize menu and assist customers with menu questions
-maintain composure and friendliness in a fast-paced environment
-run a cash register, take orders, and handle money
-food preparation and baking
-wash dishes
-daily cleaning, sweeping, mopping
-stock and order inventory
-answer phone, take catering orders
-deliver and set up catering orders
-run errands
The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and clean driving record for occasional deliveries. Some restaurant experience is preferred, but we will train the right individual who is reliable, friendly, energetic, motivated, and a quick learner.
Hours are approximately 9am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday. This is a rare opportunity to work in a restaurant with no shifts on evenings or weekends! Perfect for a parent or night school student.
Compensation starts at Seattle minimum wage, plus tips.
